NAUTILIA 34rd Edition - 16/17/18 and 22/23/24 OCTOBER 2020 We are in Aprilia Marittima - Latisana (Udine), a reality that in October has been hosting a show entirely dedicated to used boats for 34 years, a large “dry” boat show, the only European show with boats exposed ashore on comfortable piers as if they were moored, thus facilitating the visit to the boats in all their parts, especially the hull.
After the severe backlash due to the pandemic, this year we can look to the future with more confidence and we can say with certainty that we are preparing for the next 2022, which will be the year of rebirth.
Experience teaches us that, at Nautilia, the first indications are being created of how the next nautical season will go and according to the information that the exhibitors are providing us in these days of preparation, we observe a justified optimism.
Conceived and organized by the Cantieri di Aprilia Fair Authority which has been presenting this Nautilia event for 34 years now, it is aimed at retailers, brokers, but also private individuals who intend to sell their boat.
The organizers Eugenio Toso and Stefano Rettondini tell us: “The pleasure boating sector is part of two supply chains, the tourist one and the shipbuilding one. That is, yachtsmen carry out tourist consumption in shops, restaurants, hotels, bathing establishments, etc. and turn to our Shipyards to take advantage of the offer of used boats proposed by Nautili and in the post purchase, find at their disposal a wide range of nautical craftsmen for every type and specialty, as well as parking areas for hauling, storage and maintenance engines, hulls, antifouling treatments, awnings, on-board equipment, electronic equipment, etc.
The organization of the exhibition is underway as always with our utmost commitment, with an eye always on the safety of both workers and visitors.
We are also developing some new features for the 34 edition, which will be illustrated shortly on our internet and social channels. However, we can already anticipate that the 34th Nautilia will have a special focus on the female sex in sport and boating ”.
As for last year, we can say that the boat, being a protected environment and in which social distancing is almost guaranteed, is still highly sought after as a type of holiday and, of all this, the nautical sector has been positively affected.
Also this year we foresee an important stand positioned at the entrance or inside the fair where the nautical accessories companies (carpentry, upholstery, electronics, etc.) of the area will exhibit their products and will be happy to offer their services to visitors.
A novelty of the past edition that we intend to propose to exhibitors will be the "Nautilia virtual tour" which will allow them to develop an online business through our website and on social networks. Each Broker will be able, at no cost, to have the video of each boat registered at the fair posted on the “nautilia.com” site, and each boat will be accompanied by an exhaustive technical data sheet with all the information on its condition and on-board equipment ".
Among the more than 200 used boats exhibited from various shipyards, this year in particular we note the increase of modern and comfortable boats with outboard motors within 40 horsepower that can be driven without a license, or for those who want to travel longer distances with more engines. powerful.
The new association "Polo velico Aprilia Marittima", already present at the inauguration of Nautilia last year, is obtaining a flattering success with the sailing courses and "sailing camp" for children and teenagers up to 18 carried out by valid instructors and it is thanks at their work we can look forward to a future generational change.
During the event there will be moments of in-depth study for operators in the sector that will contribute to enrich the two fair weekends: thanks to the collaboration with the "Yachting Club Aprilia Marittima", two conferences will be held, one of which presented by the admiral Romano Sauro and the second on insurance conflicts in maritime accidents that will be illustrated by the expert Raffaele Angiuli.
The Nautilia review takes on particular importance in the territorial area of Friuli Venezia Giulia, which wanted to focus before any other region of Italy, on boating, as an element of progress for the entire tourism sector. The F.V.G. has been able to invest in accommodation, acquiring an important role in nautical tourism in Italy with an offer of 23 marinas and 15,000 berths grouped in the "FVG Marinas" network.
