Rio Yachts Daytona 50
The DAYTONA range, born in September 2020 with DAYTONA 34 (a very successful model so much so that within a few months of its presentation at the Genoa Boat Show, production for the following season was completed) responds to a new market demand: that of open boats comfortable, useful for short cruises, where living spaces are preferred over those on deck and dynamic and fun performances. DAYTONA 50 is therefore RIO YACHTS’ new interpretation of this need and, thanks to the Italian designer Marino Alfani who meticulously oversaw the project, responds to it with great personality and determination. Here are the main features: walkaround and central console, maximum space on board thanks to a large unlimited cockpit, ease of movement on deck in total safety, a vessel dedicated to conviviality, pleasure and relaxation.
INNOVATIVE AND MODERN
The performances are brilliant and fun, the maximum speed is over 40 knots and it can be equipped with both outboard and inboard engines. The lines are streamlined and symmetrical, the windscreen with side shoulders allows perfect visibility and the slender bow reflects an innovative and clean design. The large cockpit has a generous stern sundeck under which it is possible to have a garage for a tender, the spacious stern platform has the possibility of having a tenderlift and both on the right and on the left there are two splendid terraces overlooking the sea of large dimensions that give a contribution of substance to the already important space of the cockpit, for a unique connection with the water. The cockpit table is completely retractable. In the central part we find a spacious “open air” kitchen that divides the cockpit from the technological, functional and practical driving area, dominated by a comfortable, light, sporty Bimini on two legs (instead of the canonical four of competing hulls), but very stable and with generous coverage. The addition of two Arabian sheets at the bow and stern allows you to easily manage the sun/shade depending on the needs on board. The passage to the bow is large, comfortable and safe. In a few steps you reach the double sofa consisting of a large sundeck and a small sofa. The interiors are represented by a bright and well-kept open space. If necessary, with guests on board, the cabins can be divided by a movable wall to create the necessary privacy and exclusive comfort. The chosen materials, which can be customized by the owner, represent the maximum expression of the quality that only Made in Italy can provide.
